Right tents up. Food in, cooker all set up. Made it 6 feet from the back door. Anyone else having a garden staycation this Easter? Going to cook in my usual camping pots, the lot. Got a good stash of books in .

I count 6 porkers. How many were left after your attention wandered ( and the dog got them)?

I have reported you to the RSPCA for dawg-trapping with a sausage. Dog-trapping with a sausage is not a legitimate reason to emerge from your bricks&mortat neither, so I have told Bokum who may send a rozzer-drone with a water cannon in it. This will ruin them sausages and your day.

my tents are 200 miles away and there's nowhere to pitch here anyway
Hope you are doing the real camping experience - no inside loos or working showers allowed

!

Hmm, there's roughing it and being a philistine

. Why I like outdoor cooking on my little stove so much, I'll never know. So far so good. Those sausages look good. Breakfast tomorrow I think.
Sorry you can't camp. Build something with chairs and sheets? Build it in the shower for a real experience. Rain on demand.

Interesting table. How have you fastened the rims together - welded?

Oh, I like his style. I've actually learned my new mini cooker creates quite a hot spot and burns food on the base with a titanium pot. I need to turn it right down for things like soup. So this exercise hasn't been quite as daft as first impression might seem.

Well I have just barbecued some wild boar chops over a wood fired bbq (old Land Rover wheel welded to a Calor gas bottle to get the right height). I could put a tent up as there is one in the summer house but the latter has double doors open so I will doss in that instead. Expect the cat will join me at some point. Can pee on the lawn to get the correct atmosphere or as the utility room is outside with an adjoining loo I can go down the campsite road. I always joke that the loo is just like a campsite one having a door that doesn't reach the floor or the ceiling and it's got a slate floor.
Taking a small bottle of damson enhanced spirit to bed with me, a bar old Old Jamaica chocolate and the history of climbing in the Cairngorms. The wife wonders why but as it's my birthday I can do what I like.

Excellent but I’m not sure that stove counts as a cycle camping item?
