It doesn't for me, I think I already had it set like that, but to make sure I started again and it's still the same, speed in km, distance in miles! It's an irritation rather than an issue, though I like to follow the route sheet when on an Audax which is more likely to have the distances in km, so it it's changeable I'd like to do so.
