Campag Chorus 11-sp Groupset onto a Trek 1000 ? Yes - all done !

Hi guys ,
I have a Trek 1000 aluminium that has Shimano BBR60 English thread bottom bracket. I want to put an 11 speed Campagnolo Chorus groupset on it including the Chorus crank which has an Ultra Torque bottom bracket with it.
Is it a straight swap? What complications am i going to run into?

it sounds as if both bottom brackets fit a standard BSC threaded BB shell; if so what do you expect to be the problem exactly? Campag ultra-torque cups are available to fit most types of 'road' frameset. [if you mean 'will the campag cranks fit straight to the shimano BB?', the answer is 'no'; you need the campag bearings and cups; the way the various parts fit and are retained is quite different.]
FWIW there are always niggles, both major and minor, when building bikes. To a great extent is a question of being prepared to adapt and overcome where necessary.

Yes, you 'could' do it. Campag Ultra Torque is available in an English thread, so will fit no problem. The question is 'why'? A Chorus groupset will practically double the value of the bike, unless you already have the groupset or someone gifted it to you. In practice, you will achieve very little of any tangible riding benefit from doing it and it might be worth a re-think if you haven't already spent the money.

If you already have the parts, one complication may be attaching the front derailleur to the frame. Check they fit each other.

Guys , thank you for your helpful replies. Straight swap of the BB , happy days. I was just unsure before trying it. Reason for doing - the Trek frame has sentimental value & i had the Chorus groupset in a box waiting to go on a bike. Could call it a retro mod now. lol ... Again , Thank you for all your help.
