My thanks go to PH for two pairs of cranks, a 43 tooth chain ring and two chainring bashguards. The parts will rest quietly in the shed until I start to build blatt mkII, hopefully next year. Thank you PH you are a very kind person :-)

I’ve received my Bianchi Owners Club fleece today, just in the nick of time for the coldest bit of winter.

I bought some Assos waterproof winter gloves whilst I was in London on Friday, they are superb.

Be interested how you get on with them, although a bit pricey for me. But they could always go on my next pressie list!

They got their first proper test today. They really are super comfy, and you don’t lose dexterity either.

Ok thanks. I dug out an old hardly used pair of gloves the other day as my current ones are wearing thin. They were toasty but hopeless as there was no feel. Too thick.

New mitts turned up this week, having been on back order for months.

(Nice Castelli ones since you ask).

Apologies, it actually arrived last week, but I'm still chuffed. Alan Dun was kind enough to sell to me a five speed regina freewheel. Whilst the range of sprockets is limited compared with other offerings, it minds that I can use a short arm deraileur, but what really impressed me is the thickness of the sprockets themselves

Given the thickness of the cogs, this freewheel might outlast me :D

Hi,
Some cycling shoes from Lithuania NOS.
Same as the ones I have been using for a few years, old model so will have to source some other shoes for the future, though older ones that I have been using have many miles left in them.

I use shoe cover most all the time even in summer, they dont overheat my feet and I think that they might even slowdown the ageing of the outer show surface, as sunlight and dirt cant get to them.

Not arrived yet, but a pair of Mr. Assos's low-end dunghampers are currently wending their way to yrs trly, short ones to go under padless tights. Got them a size larger than usual because Mr. A's marketing fools have been playing old Harry with the sizing recently. Did think of going the Rapha route instead but I'm close with my shekels.
