radio 2 - who was it

Post by pigman »

By accident I caught a bit of a radio 2 prog saturday afternoon. It was an interview with a band. The presenter was talking to one of the singers about her love of cycling. He then proudly told us of his custom built ivory brompton and what a useful tool it was and how cool he reckoned it was. Didnt get chance to pick up who the presenter was. any ideas??

Not going to be much help, but if it helps jog anyones memory (and it was this band) Jonathon Ross interviewed a band on Saturday who had a female lead singer.

I caught about 2 minutes before picking up the old man from hospital.

Dermot O' Leary 14:00 - 17:00
Dermot welcomes the Five O'Clock Heroes featuring Agyness Deyn in session, and Motorhead guitarist Phil Campbell.
I listened to a bit of the show and the interview was at about 3.30. Dermot said he has an Ivory Brompton. I think Agyness said that she has a Princess Pashler. (OK I do work for the BBC :D )
Don't let them win but keep up the struggle and wear them all down by our persistence.

I went to school with Jamie Hince of The Kills and I can't imagine him on a bike, let alone a Brompton.
