My #1 hate is people overtaking when there is absolutely no need to, then cutting me up, such as just before a red traffic light. I get in front of them again and tell them off.

Drivers who wait a few seconds on a country lane then overtake anyway without a decent sightline. In the event of a car coming the other way are they going to risk a head-on or take me out on the inside? Answers on a postcard.

Experience would show that most of them seem to go gor the head on option. No idea why, but I've seem many more cars have near head on collisions than I've had dive back to my side.

Being hit by a car!!!!!
Happened last saturday, just clipped my back wheel, managed to stay on, which was just as well as there was a bit van behind me.
I pointed out to the driver the error of his ways and told him that I thought he was rather silly............ or words to that effect!
Fortunately my 'Blue Bomber' was unscathed.

People who put the FULL quote of a previous poster in their reply when all they have to do is edit the relevant part/phrase/paragraph to insert into their reply......repeating the whole post of a say shortish one sentence post is ok IMO, but to re-quote/subject the poor reader to the same War & Peace Epic drives me mad.

Things that annoy me as a cyclist? The list could be long but here are a couple:
1. Motorists who "obligingly" beep their horns to warn you as they are about to pass. I know you're there, I can hear you, but your horn may make me jump and one day cause me to involuntarily swerve under your wheels.
2. Pedestrians who walk three or four abreast across the width of the cycle track (in parks for example) or what about those who walk to one side of the track and let Fido walk the other whilst connected to his owner by one of those long dog leads?

Take a chill pill.
It isn't going to bring about the end of the world is it?

Err... I have to disagree here, it makes me only slightly less angry than...
UNI-PANNIERISTS
I feel sure that others will agree that this is a proportionate response
