You know drivers of bendy buses are the most well-paid bus drivers! - they earn up to £64K a year according to a bus program I was watching

In London: Bendy buses, Royal Mail drivers (always very aggressive), and glass strewn everywhere on Saturday mornings (particularly after Friday pay-day).

Yes I agree with Laurie about helmets. Also those annoying "Ive got a grand to spend on a bike through the cycle to work scheme and what should I get" Honestly, what jobs do these people do that requires so little initiative. You are two clicks from getting the most comprehensive reviews and tech info on every bike under the sun. And people that use the bike forum to advertise their shop or bike business.. I'm fed up of being marketed at all the time. And certain cycling organizations that use premium rate 0870 like some faceless corporation or branch of the civil service.

where? WHERE? please tell.

btw as an IT Manager my job requires lots of initiative but bike selection and purchase isn't part of the core skill set.....

If my last couple of IT managers are anything to go on I'd suggest knowledge of IT isn't part of the core skill set either!

Actually that's slightly unfair... it seems that generally, to be an X manager doesn't require much more than a passing knowledge of X!
