Just had telephone consultation with my surgeon. Seems they got the lesion cleanly out and no evidence of spread. Some ongoing treatment but looking very hopeful.

My aunt had the same outcome 14 years ago ( bowl cancer ) and has had no more bother with it. She's 75 and very fit with a figure any 18 year old would be proud of.

Had my first post illness bike ride today: a gentle 9 miles.

Good to be back, despite being utterly exhausted.
