jockey wheels

Can anybody be of assistants please,

Requiring set of jockey wheels for Sram X7 10 Speed rear Mech, having looked at the cost of them compared with other makes,are any others compatible with the Sram ones,

Yes. Shimano, Tacx, BBB etc

Jockey wheels can have one of two axle diameters.
As long as the axle diameter is correct then it doesn't matter who make them.

SRAM X7 pulleys are (in some years) completely different to most other pulleys on the market. If your RD is from one of these years, Tacx, shimano etc pulleys won't do; you have to have the correct thing, as per pwa's link. The photo below is of the same type of pulleys and shows better the full extent of the weirdness

If the pulleys are unlike those above and have a single hole through the centre then there are non-SRAM alternatives
