bcos obviously youd be looking in different places in the mirror if a 6ft6 bloke rode the bike, compared to a 5ft5 bloke

I like the look, but is it neseccary to shorten the end of the bars?

Not that I understand, Bob.
Any road up, I've ordered one.
I'll fit it and make a report back on here. Remember, I'm not a mirror user, never had one since I was a youth - didn't like it then, and have never been attracted to them since.
But this one seems different ........

I saw these a while ago but its taken some time to track them down again.
I think I'll give them a try myself - the neck doesnt seem to turn as far as it used to!

johnb - doesn't the saddlebag impede the mirror's vision? If not, that looks great. Are they the Italian Road Bike Mirrors, and did you get them sent from Americky?

Deliquium,
no the saddle bag doesnt interfere with your rearview through the mirror, although I can understand that looking at the picture of the galaxy you would think it does. basically when installing the mirror you turn in a clockwise or anti clockwise direction to suit your personal position, my own preference is that I can see a portion of the outside of my right leg in the mirror for some perspective.
Yes it is the Italian road mirror unfortunately you cannot get them in Britain or Ireland so you have to get them from the US via Aspirevelotech which entails a one week wait shipping costs and you cannot phone them or seek their advice on this forum as you can with Paul from bikeplus.

No they are a different mirror Thirdcrank and when I first bought the Italian road mirrors 2 years ago Wildoos link mirrors were not on the market, so I do not know anything about them.

The Wildo ones aren't the same thing at all. They're far too big.
I want small and neat.

Bought one of these
Blackburn multi-mirrors from the bargain bins at York yesterday. After being cut in by cars travelling too fast on left hand bends twice last week I thought I'd give the mirror thing a go. An advance on the Mirrycle that's still in the box 15 years after I bought it.

Well, at least I think I have.
No confirmatory email yet.
Nothing taken out of my credit card account yet.
Hopefully, it's something to do with time differences between US and here.
