I went along last week and didn't see any lights or workstand. They did have gloves, but I've got decent gloves. I did, however, get a merino base layer.

I just went and bought a couple of packs of the lights. They're £5 each and you get two lights, plus batteries (non-rechargeable). The build quality is pretty rubbish and you can tell they won't last long (the clips that hold the rear light together are made of cheese). I may return them. Or keep them as emergency spares.

I bought the cycling jersey. I like it.
However...
The material is quite thin, more like that for a shirt rather than a jersey.
Again, the sizing is a bit weird.
Medium seems to be the smallest size they do.
I take a medium, but this is more like a large; ok if worn over a couple or three under layers.
And there is excess material around the gut area, so it looks like I'm enjoying an unscheduled priapism
But the back is long, which is good.

I too had weird sizing from Aldi with a cycling jacket. I suspect the sizing is for the USA. S, M, L are opinions anyway, not sizes.

Never seen bike stuff in Aldi, here in the colonies.

Lidl and Aldi purchases ?

I am NOT a customer of these shops and never have been. Mainly because I have never seen one wherever I have lived and when I have occasionally (once in four years) been in they have been low quality.

Whilst I would not shop there for my bike accessories on a regular basis I did take the car in to be serviced and took my bike, like an idiot I left my helmet behind, and asd I will NOT ride without one call it because of my Autism, I was b annoyed.

There happened to be both a Lidl and Aldi, (amazing how they sell almost identical things !)

I bought a helmet that will stay in the car for emergencies and a cycle jacket, total £20.

NO they are not the best, I have FOX mainframe and Specialised helmets that fit "comfortably" and well, but for the price obviously cheap, NO complaints whatsoever for £10 as an emergency helmet, (the fit is 20% of the FOX and Spec). I was able to ride whereas I would not have.

Ok, I am not a Lidl/Aldi convert but I can see what people "see" in them especially if you are on a limited budget.

the bike stand was the best £20 I ever spent there. Really saved my back.

I have the Aldi bike stand too. It's outstanding for the price.
