think you need to put up a list a la Mick F's Cornish perambulations.

One of my favourite Wilts place names is Tiddleywink near Chippenham, how it got that name is a mystery but brings a smile to many a traveller i'm sure :D
Convention? what's that then?

The hamlet was once called Mensa Circa which means Round Table in Latin. They were inundated for many years by hippies on the Arthurian Trail and at a parich council meeting they resolved to change their name.

Do you mean a list of places I’ve been to it’s in my first post I edit it when I’ve done more of them. I like the funny names I’ve got Sodom, Cuckoos Knob to do yet.

Are you saving Zeals for last? A good combination of alphabet and distance from Devizes.

Say hello to Kingston Deverill for me. That's where I grew up

There are some very evocative place names in that list.

I won’t do this all the time but I like the name got Sevington and Leigh Delamere as well. Sat in M4 services eating home made flap jack and a flask of coffee. Big spender me. 50 miles today.

I had wondered about dropping into the services last time i went past, its one of the few that you can legitimately visit without a motor vehicle - OTOH i've visited a few such places on the continent, they usually have a public road to them for the staff to use at the very least!

This road was sign posted motel customers only. It was nearly empty Costa, Greg’s and WH Smith’s were the only places open. I sat in one of the massage chairs for my snack not switched on of course.

It’s not going to well at the moment as I am sticking to around 20 miles round trip i’m only going around 6 miles from home. Until the COVID restrictions lift. I recon it will be around 6 years to finish them all.
