Rear Hanger

Good evening all,

Is there an easier way (and cheaper way )to check alignment of rear mech hanger on steel framed bike when the hanger is part of the frame, than the special tools

you can use a spare wheel (with a M10x1 threaded solid axle) as a substitute for the 'special tool'.

If you turn the standard wheel in the frame, and/or remove the cassette, you can make room for the 'tool' wheel to 'bolt through' the gear hanger.
