This is a really good initiative:

Two reasons for this:
1) A wish to create employment especially with the need for economic recovery
2) Norway is extremely wealthy with their Sovereign Wealth fund so they have deep pockets

Fingers crossed that this really takes off.

I've been looking out for these, despite the link saying it would launce in the first quarter of 2021, there's still no sign of them, though the Big Issue website still has pre-registrations open.
Derby had an E-Bike hire scheme, lasted less than a year, half the bikes went missing and half of those left were vandalised. Still they provided some fun for a few of the local youth, they found ways to hack them, so probably educational as well. One came past me, two up, neither pedalling, car battery tied to the rack, left me standing and I was doing 15mph+
