Rumours suggest she did fancy it but zahawi threatened to quit if not promoted.

Seems rather odd to get that invested though given likely length of tenure.

Perhaps HMQ needs to express no-confidence in him, or at least suggest to him that he isn’t fulfilling his role of forming and maintaining a stable government.
