For the Ministers and other appointees under investigation (and those yet to come) the way this was handled sets a dangerous precedent: it's now going to be much harder to use delay and obstruction.

Starmerisation seems unlikely to change many of the fundamental problems with Blighty life. The City and The Bankers and The Big Businesses will still do what they do whilst the serfs may obtain only a few small comfits from the new regime. As the saying goes, though, "Still the red & blue clown show" in which the clowns make their traditional faux-pas, the doors and lights fall of the car and we, the audience, laugh along as terrible forces gather outside the circus tent.reohn2 wrote: ↑29 Jan 2023, 1:01pmWill we see any real change with Starmer after the complete and wanton trashing of the country by sed spivs?Cugel wrote: ↑29 Jan 2023, 12:41pmWot government? So let's have another inquiry at the same time:
"The UK Commissioner for Public Appointments is to review the process behind the appointment of BBC Chair Richard Sharp as the fallout from the Boris Johnson loan scandal continues to be felt."

It's difficult, isn't it: which liar to believe?
It's the same the whole world over

Isn't it a blooming shame?
