End to End website

Post by robgul »

Quick update - the http://www.cycle-endtoend.org.uk has just had a makeover with a move to new a new version of the software and content checking and tidying up - loads of resources.

List your ride and publish your Journal - see the website for how (and it's free!)

Looks a lot better, Rob. An "order by date" sort option would be useful for the journals.

Thanks - the software component that drives The Journals had to be cobbled from the old version to work on the new/latest platform that drives the whole site - that means some of the sorting options aren't available.

I may at some point install another component and see if it's possible to migrate all the data to fields that can then be filtered - don't hold your breath on that! [The fudge option might be if I go through and add the year to the end of the journal title ... ? - I'll have a look sometime but it would be a totally manual task]

UPDATE - 5 mins later - the adding the year works (try searching 2012) . . . I'll do it (job for one of those long winter/lockdown evenings!)

Cool - thanks :-) Haven't altogether given up the idea of achieving an end-to-end, so this might spur me on!

Fantastic, much appreciated Rob. Hoping to do our first LEJOG next spring, I had it all planned and booked for spring this year.

Hi Rob..,
Are there copies of 'Rob & Joe's JOGLE DVD/CD' still available?
Thanks.
