Dear All,
I bought the T100 Fahrrud Manufaktur '7 speed Nexus hub' bike quite recently but don't seem to be able to get used to the rear brake which comes on when backpedalling - is it relatively easy to disable this facility, since I would be happier having the two 'V-type' brakes on their own, doing without this other brake, and then be able to backpedal?

There is no on/off switch or similar. I imagine it might be possible to dismantle it and remove a vital part but for practical purposes you are stuck with it. (I know this is not the question but I think coaster hubs are good for what they are intended to do and it is worth trying to get used to one.)
