FWIW you can buy a complete pre-NIG SA AW hub (which will give you a fresh set of internal parts for an AG, except planet cage (definitely) and axle (maybe) for less than twenty quid from SJS.

SFG or oil ( a little and often, eg via the hollow axle) is the way to go with lube in SA hub gears.
