I'd feel happier riding it with rear rack on, just in case of the small chance I slid off the back of the saddle......

The risk assessment must have been interesting.

Wonderful. Thanks for posting.

And as PT1029 and hamster imply... what could possibly go wrong?

PS: Obviously workshops across the land are already buzzing (!) with replicas. A little more eye protection during the metalwork would also be wise.

reminds me a bit of ice speedway;

insane lean angles and mahoosive danger, even with the long mud(ice) guards and body armour. A bicycle with similar hazards....? No thank you!

cheers

Very entertaining and well made video. However, a pair of spiked bike tyres would have worked just as well and been a lot quicker. :lol: :lol: :lol:

Reckon the ride quality might be a tad harsh, and the rotating weight would be hideous.... If you rode around in a circle you could cut a hole in the ice and go fishing :lol:

The front "tyre" is the wrong way around and the brake discs will turn the flange on the hub when the brakes are applied. Apart from that it looks like a straightforward solution to a problem. :lol:

Makes the debate in pro cycle racing regarding disc brakes a bit lightweight.
