Hi

Having met up with RobGul of E2E fame last night for a woodworking transaction! We found we had more in common that I first realised!! Conversation turned to our dear friend Brucey so I thought I'd look for updates...

I have just checked in on Bigcoupe a classic BMW forum that brucey was into an expert as you might expect! And found this update.

It's in the public domain so I thought I could share it....

https://bigcoupe.com/phpBB2/viewtopic.php?f=10&t=32609

Get well brucey!

Cheers James

I'm still missing his posts here. Hoping his eyesight improves so he can at least look in if/when he wants.

Many thanks for the update. Genuinely remarkable that Brucey appears to have been as active and helpful on a completely different forum and subject to this one. How did he find the time?! Makes me want to get into sharknosed BMWs just so I can benefit from his expertise!

I wondered why a recent query from me brought no reply from him! I'm only an occasional visitor, but his was always the advice I wanted. He wears his knowledge lightly, which is a rare gift. Get well soon Brucey.

Thanks Jamessh for sharing the update.
Touching to read how valued and respected he is by the Beemer gang too.
Best wishes Brucey, hang in there.

Exactly - I get email alerts to threads I've highlighted - general alerts I generally leave until I next log in but if I saw a reply was from Brucey I pretty always took an immediate look - just as I took an immediate look when I saw there was a reply to this.
We're rooting for you Brucey.
all the best, get well soon to devote your energies to whatever.
