I hope he's OK.
If you are Brucey, please return.
I have always found him very generous with his incredible expertise - and was always amazed that in view of his mega knowledge compared to pretty much all of us he would answer with very little evident ego.
Pretty rare these days, especially online.
I do recall one person who seemed determined to pick arguments for some odd reason.
Find it hard to believe that brucey would be troubled by that bod.

Hope you are fine brucey.

I've always looked forward to Brucey's posts. His breadth of knowledge is very wide and would be a loss if he's decided to leave this forum.
If he has, and it's because of comments, then that's even sadder.
I've been on other forums where a valued poster got fed up with personal attacks way beyond the acceptable and left.
I know we have moderators to prevent this but sometimes it doesn't work.
Sadly Brucey wouldn't be the first regular to have stopped posting on here.

They won, and my sister was doing the conveyor belt thing.
The photos are stills from the DVD my sister managed to get from the BBC.

That whole scene is the most 70s thing I've ever seen!

On the other hand, it is keeping the thread busy and at the top of the list.

I'm a trendy consumer. Just look at my VOG-L09 using hovercraft full of eels.

Without wishing to be melodramatic, if anyone has any genuine concerns over Brucey's wellbeing and lives more local to him (Cambridge) than me (Inverness), I have his address (from previous written correspondence on this forum). Thus you could PM me and then maybe cycle past his house and check. Or is this a bit unethical? I would not like to be poking my nose in other peoples affairs but on the other side of the coin.......?

Anyway, Brucey, if you are there and would like some peace then give us a clue, all the best, Simon

Edit: in hindsight maybe not such a good idea, he hasn't been heard since March 11th so that's a good 10 days. He will have someone who knows him / cares about him (i.e he won't be languishing in an empty house) so this could be construed as just being nosey, hence please disregard!!

Being in Cambridge there will be cycling aware police officers.

I'd suggest contacting a local community policing unit to check in.

Failing that a local surgery will follow up a welfare concern.

But I'm sure he's ok and encouraged by our concern!

Cheers James

I was lightening up the thread, and keeping it going too.
No offence was meant.

As for Brucey of our forum, I'll raise it with the mods. They will have an email address, and perhaps other contact details.
Great idea if someone's in the Cambridge area and PMs SimonCelsa for Brucey's postal address.
