A friend once had a click that was driving her mad. It turned out to be the ferrule on the front derailler cable end touching the crank. I swift bend of the cable and it was gone.

Saddle frame? They do wear/move.

Clicking noises that I have experienced.

Zip on waterproof jacket/ gilet.
Cellophane on side of tyre hitting on forks or brake callipers
Ankle touching front mech wire.
Leaves stuck in various places either under mud guards or brake callipers.

Can be very frustrating and annoying to those who you are riding with..
