Hi All,
Could you please advise me where can I buy a leaver bleed screw for 7020?
I was bleeding the breakers and the thread on one of the screws just gone...
Shimano 105 Hydraulic Brakes 7020

Most big retailers seem to be out of stock. Try eBay or ask your local bike shop if they have one on a damaged reservoir unit. You might also try advertising on the wanted section of this forum.

A search suggests that will fit.
ST-R9120, ST-R8020, ST-R7020 all use the same Funnel Adapter Y0C698050, so thread on Bleed Screw is the same, and exterior looks the same

Re: Shimano 105 Hydraulic Brakes 7020
Hi, seems that the correct part “Shimano 105 ST-R7020 Bleed Screw & O-Ring - Y0F398030” is out of stock online, however SJS cycles have these:

The Q&A bit at the bottom suggests that they’ll work with R7020. Worth a try if you can’t source the 105 versions

It's madness that I couldn't find it anywhere...
I know that there is some sort of global shortage, but com on!
Hopefully it will work

Just received the bleed screw from and... And it doesn't work...
I've just check and I can screw in funnel adapter without any problems. I'm lost... Any advise?
Re: Shimano 105 Hydraulic Brakes 7020
The funnels have a more flexible plastic thread to allow them to be screwed into the access points on various Shimano units.
Re: Shimano 105 Hydraulic Brakes 7020
Sorry to hear that. Feel a bit bad with my suggestion now.
The only other option I can see is eBay. A retailer in Taiwan claims to have them in stock and they are £16.53 each posted! There seem to be some US shops that have them but I can’t find anything else online. I would phone all your local bike shops, never know, they often have an array of bits in boxes lying around.
Looking for your parts, I came across a few forums for these shifters where people had damaged threads on the screws & one where the thread on the shifter was damaged. It seems they’re very fragile bits of kit. I have a pair of 7020s and am normally really careful with not over tightening them. Now I’ll be even more careful!

Re: Shimano 105 Hydraulic Brakes 7020
To add to the above post, there’s also a broken “parts only” shifter on eBay £20+pp with no bids yet, 2 days left on the auction.
