I was amazed Cav did not win in Paris but it showed what a rider Wout Van Aert is: selected as a support rider for Primoz Roglic, he ended up as one of a team of only four riders and still won three stages: Ventoux; individual TT; final sprint. And the combativity on the stage into Andorra. Nineteenth on GC.

I think Cav had the legs to win but he got himself boxed in. You can see he had to freewheel briefly twice in the last 100 metres. Still a great achievement to win 4 stages and the green jersey after many (including me) had written him off.

Quite incredible sprint win for Wout van Aert the day after winning the ITT, and to add to his fantastic Stage 11 solo mountain win which was gravity defying for a guy weighing in at 78kg!

Which one is going to be Jumbo-Visma's La Vuelta team leader? Roglič, van Aert, or Vingegaard? :D

I saw him in Paris after the finish and he looked absolutely exhausted, not surprising, but so tired I just said hello, and didn't bother him for an autograph

Is anyone travelling to watch the tour this year? (assuming travel is back on the cards)
