C2C Trip

I`m doing the C2C next year and would like to know if I can use my Dawes Galaxy for it. I don`t know if it is all on-road or if the tracks are too rough for a touring bike.

Do you mean the Sustrans northern C2C? If so you'll be fine on the Galaxy, sticking to tarmack where off road options exist would probably be your best bet though.
The descent through woods to Bassenthwaite lake is the only part i can remember where you might wish you weren't on a road bike but it's short and quite eariy on in the ride.
