Mystery TA tool

Can anyone tell me what this TA tool is for . I assume it’s for a bottom bracket but it doesn’t fit the Axix type lockring .Has three splines plus three raised splines

Tool for non-drive side cup lockring on the TA cup and cone bottom bracket.

Edit - That tool and the other tools which made up the tool kit for TA BBs and chainsets can be seen in the link below, together with the leather case that they came in.
