That looks better - I recall seeing similar photos of classic British cars - I think they were called single-wheel trailers. The forces involved during cornering would be greatly reduced compared to the towball mounted version. Finding 'pick up points' on a modern car would be tricky though I'm sure - a plastic 'bumper' wouldn't be suitable
