Dolan bikes - experience with ?

Post by Jules59 »

I'm in the market for a new endurance road bike and would prefer to buy "British" as much as possible and stay within my budget (up to £3K).

Was thinking of popping into the Dolan Shop in Burscough, Lancs when I next go up the M6 and wondered what people thought of their bikes and customer support.

I purchased the rdx last year and have been very happy with the bike. Previously had a fixed from them many years ago and again a good bike.

I bought a L'etape frameset from them 3 years ago, very quick to answer my emails and delivered on time. Was looking to buy a new frameset for the winter but then I thought I'd have a a new bike......low stocks on all shimano and only 46cm deda bars in stock. My size!!

I bought a Dolan Dual frame in 2013 and added my chosen bits to it. Very happy with the outcome.

I bought a Dolan Tuono frame from them, built my own bike up, lovely lightweight bike. Their technical support was very good.

I've never had one but the people I know who have had one all seem happy.
