What did you buy today?
Re: What did you buy today?
Just purchased a can of WD-40 chain lube, not used it before, will see how it goes

I am pleased by the sound of two new Crane Riten bells, a very pleasant dring dring with a long sustain. Hopefully the sound will be better received and understood by grouchy pedestrians than previous ping bells.
Also a PX MTB plastic front mudguard for upcoming mild off road tracks in Scotland. However I suspect it will not last long.

From the Car Boot today, a combined Broons & Oor Wullie Album, with a ten-up cycle and sidecar combination and Grandpaw Broon bringing up the the rear on a Penny-Farthing on the cover. We used to get the original Annuals for our Christmas; sent down from Scotland from our Aunts & Uncles.
The cartoons used to appear in the Sunday Post, still do I imagine. I found a cycling adventure of Wullie's with his pal Bob inside. Click-click to read

We used to have them religiously each Christmas and used to fight over them.colin54 wrote: ↑10 Oct 2021, 7:29pm From the Car Boot today, a combined Broons & Oor Wullie Album, with a ten-up cycle and sidecar combination and Grandpaw Broon bringing up the the rear on a Penny-Farthing on the cover. Being so very please with my recently purchased and installed TSDZ2 mid drive motor and 10Ahr bottle battery (for £352 from PSW Power, German Warehouse) and fitted it to my Dawes Super Galaxy, I bought a duplicate setup to put on my wife's bike.
PS - Before anyone asks about battery range, I use quite low levels of assist and in recent tests on only slightly undulating roads, I managed to get 50 miles out of the battery.

Without my stoker, every trip would only be half a journey

Bought a mattress topper from eBay just now, for our put-you-up bed as the mattress itself is a bit thin.

Re: What did you buy today?
Bought some Shimano shoes out of urgent necessity. They have that fancy BOA lace thingy system (only ever had proper laces before). It works quite well hope it lasts cos them cables look very slim. Caused me to check out the spares availability to make sure I wouldn't be left with a useless pair of shoes in 12 months time. Anyway some of my best purchases have been made in a hurry so there's hope yet.
Cheers

Spoke tension meter... Ztto digital.
Jagwire Pro shift kit, now put my 3x9 on full length outers ready for winter crud riding... shifting feels considerably better than the spit system as standard.
A Rivnut install kit, as the CUBE frame rivnuts for both rack and bottles need replacing.. now done .
