Helmet with visor

I'm 74 have rheumy eyes and a snotty nose, particularly in cold or windy weather. My Oakleys do a pretty good job in the wind but not cold wintery winds. And snot rockets are frowned upon. I'm therefore wondering about a helmet with a visor. I don't want a fancy TT aero jobby or hyper expensive road helmet.
Have any of you seen a reasonably priced (sub £100) helmet that might suit.

I'm a trendy consumer. Just look at my SM-G981B using hovercraft full of eels.

Abus do a couple, I was looking at one in Decathlon a while ago, looked OK, though if you're used to wearing a lightweight road style helmet it might feel a bit of a lump.

There was a post about this a while ago. I know cos I talked about wrong sort of visor.

In Asia they have strap on ones that attach to the helmet for motorbikes. Don't know if you can get here, but worth a search.

I use safety glasses. They are big and ugly and do a good job of shielding my eyes. A couple of quid from Wickes.

Carnac Kronus helmet from Planet X - yes, it’s a TT helmet, but it’s not outlandish and is well within your budget. You can even buy different coloured visors for it.

My son in law has one.

i cant see how a visor would help tbh as the cold air would still get under the visor ?

It seems cold air is my problem so maybe a visor is the wrong way to go.

I tried some goggles yesterday and they were fantastic, no runny eyes and no snot rockets but they looked stupid on a cyclist. I took a selfy and posted it on the club's FB page. I might have watery eyes but thank goodness I've got thick skin.

A couple of years back I bought a 30€ Chinese helmet that came with 2 or 3 visors of different colours. Gave it up in the end because without a thick balaclava or similar underneath it was very uncomfortable; also, the weight of the visor made it ride on my nose, which was also rather unpleasant. I keep threatening it with Sugru to try and improve it, but I haven't seen any in the shops here since Boris buggered up the world.

FWIW: amazon link

Have a good look at the internal arrangements and avoid any that just have a thin cushion between shell and forehead. Those are the ones that hurt. They need to have semi-rigid plastic behind the cushioning to "iron out" the ridges inside.

BTW magnetic visor fixings are great - you can put a rain cover on with the visor over it, and have your head in your own wee micro-climate.

PS https://casco-helme.de/en/fahrrad.php make the same sort of thing at just 220€ more. Gulp.

Track rides use such a thing. Casco or Uvex if I remember rightly. Bets they aren't cheap.
Planet X did do an aero road helmet with a visor. It was!

Spoggles?
Google Bolle Spoggles.
Come with traditional arms or elasticated bands.About £15 and look like riding glasses but seal around the eyes.

I have a Casco in the wardrobe. Doesn't work with a rain cover - F-f-f-freezing in winter. They also seem to be made for brachycephalic heads (not to say square), which in our case we doesn't got.
