Planning Corruption advice please.

A current story in Glasgow. Councillors ignore officials advice and proper procedures to grant permission for housing. Later overturned on appeal.

As the meeting was on zoom there is a recording. An edited version with comments by the local residents makes interesting viewing.

Edit , despite thread title I am not suggesting any corruption. It appears though, to show failure within the planning system when officials advice is ignored by councilors and it takes an expensive court process by residents to get this overturned.
