It's not an illegal numberplate though so what's your point?
Proper cornishman was Jethro, not an interloper.

Look at the first post of the thread?

Not an illegal numberplate, but why the heck should anyone own a 4ltr smelly diesel just to transport a coffin?philvantwo wrote: ↑5 Jan 2022, 7:59am It's not an illegal numberplate though so what's your point?

Vehicles like that should be banned outright before we all end up in coffins. Let alone coughing our hearts up before falling into a coffin.
The sooner obscene vehicles like that are taken off the road, the better off we will all be.

Says the man who's been constantly polluting the air with wood smoke for the last 40 odd years!

If we could do something about heating alternatively, we would have done ........... and you know this.
It's very simple to remove diesel engined cars and replace them with something clean.

You could always sell up and move into sheltered accommodation!
Re: Worst personalized number plate
I saw RE55CUE - no spaces, on a Range Rover the other day, it may indeed be a resscue (sic) vehicle of some sort , it had one of those 'gripped, sorted' roof racks on. It may possibly have been heading for Burscough Tesco's, to rescue some groceries.
'Gripped, sorted' roof rack as seen in The Fast show 'Let's Off-Road' sketch, if you don't know what I mean, 1min03 in length.

Eggy plate seen on an eggy coloured Porsche at ...Burscough Tesco. Edit; I found the scrap of paper on which I wrote down the details of the 'rescue' vehicle, I'd misremembered it's
number and vehicle type, which is R33CUE, no spaces, on a Land Rover Discovery (apart from that I was spot-on ); still a bit naff, but at least has the merit of being 'spelt' correctly.
Being an all-roads type vehicle it already has internet 'traction'. It has obviously gained the large roof rack since this picture was taken.
My original post now gripped & sorted !

Saw an outrageous one just today (no pic, sorry): Quite innocuous at first:
MR59 UMP
...but spaced as MR5 9UMP with the 9 de-tailed to look like a back-to-front 'P'.
Is there really a 'Mrs Pump' in these isles of ours? Or am I missing some double-entendre?
Recalls to me my bête noire back on the ACF/YACF forums, who used to call himself "Monsieur Pumpé" (he's changed his name countless times since). Wonder what he's up to...

Suppose that this room is a lift. The support breaks and down we go with ever-increasing velocity.
