Cycling events 2022

Post by Campag »

I've just received my 'Cycleclips' email, which includes a list of various events to look forward to in 2022. No mention of the York cycle rally. Why on earth not? This is a well established event which involves many CUK members in the North of England and visitors from further afield. Very disappointing.

Maybe they think the York Rally should have ended when CTC withdrew support from it?

The York Rally is listed at the bottom of the "Family" section (I don't know if it has been added since you looked), along with New Forest Cycling Week, Edinburgh Festival of Cycling 2022 & Aberystwyth Cycle Festival. It doesn't seem to be designed as a comprehensive list, just a few examples/ suggestions.

Yes, I think it has been added - I emailed CUK and the editor said that she would do so.
