Thank you for accepting me onto your forum.
I have had bikes for some time but the bike I have now which I have owned for many years now is a Gary Fisher Cronus. I have over the years updated the gears, changers, brakes etc and now it’s time for the front folks which are the original RockShox Dart 2, which aren’t up to the job any more.
If anyone can advise on a good replacement around the £200 mark, I’m looking at secondhand as I’m a bit tight on cash at the moment.
The folks have a straight 1 ⅛ steerer and have postmount disks.
Very much appreciate any advise
Front Folk Replacement suggestions?
Re: Front Folk Replacement suggestions?
You will be limited by what's available with a straight steerer, 100mm travel or less and for 26" wheels. Personally I would look for Fox or Marzocchi, but this might suit:

Rockshox silver.Decent range at different price points, try bikeinn.I,ve just put some exotic(actual name)rigid carbon forks on an mtb/gravel bike,26".£150-ish or less.A nice fork for gravel, fire trails(never go on technical stuff nowadays) with 50mm scwalbes semi slicks, just a thought.V.comfy on the road.

I usually recomend the reverse trip but nip over to the STW forum for many suggestions.
