On tour with my Enigma

Post by sussex cyclist »

Dear mod: I know this may not be the right board to post this, but it's a little unusual. To my way of thinking this is a tour. Of course I completely understand if you move it, and apologise in advance for the bother. Permission granted ;)

Just because my Enigma is no longer rideable, doesn't mean we can't keep going places.

They say every beauty has a flaw. See if you can spot it above on the shingle beach in Hastings.

I call that one Brokebottombracket Mountain.

Hang 'Em High. You may detect a bit of photoshopping.

As long as we're in the trees. And B&W is so arty.

Don't worry, I'm not really throwing you away. Recycling is good.

Thanks!

Here's another from Hastings, one of my favourite backdrops.

That story is at the link above (here it is again), where I remain on call if necessary.

Which one? Besides this wanderin' frame, a forever fractured skeleton never again to be graced with groupsets or any other thing that makes a bike more than a muse, I've got a Litespeed, the Langster shown here resting after a climb,

a Dahon which misses London terribly,

and whatever this is.

Vorpal, for shame - the appropriate phrase is 'crack on' surely?

Bodiam Castle.

Kind of appropriate for the frame really, they're both ruined...
By the way, having seen that previous thread, that's just poor welding.

Looks uncomfortable - I had my saddle / seatpost nicked once and the ride home wasn't great... on the plus side, you won't be troubled by punctures.

So it's not Barnard castle? Opps spell check on the Land Rover Discovery satnav -- I'm at the wrong party -- this means my eyesight is good enough for the 300 mile drive and I won't even need to stop for fuel.
