Reynolds decals
Does anyone know the situation re replacing decals for 531 tubesets (or any other similar decals, for that matter)? I've recently bought a vintage (1984) cycle that requires complete renovation and I'd like to preserve or replace the decal. Is it simply a matter of getting in touch with Reynolds, assuming they are still trading?

I got some from here:

I think there used to be some checking / control of Reynolds decals so you had to demonstrate you had a worthy frame and couldn't buy them and apply them to any old frame, but that seems to no longer be the case.
Otherwise loads and loads can be found on a popular online auction site.

Or there was also the very rare UK-only re-release:

Took the words out of my mouth, but I would add that there are a lot of fake decals out there too. Some less convincing than others.backnotes wrote: ↑3 Mar 2022, 2:45pm I got some from here:

The advantage of Lloyd’s is its very easy to choose the right decal for the age of bike.
The older I get the more I’m inclined to act my shoe size, not my age.
