Inner Tube Sizes

Post by foxychick »

I have continental contact sport tyres which are 700x37mm, which self sealing inner tubes would be the better fit 700x32/38mm or 700 x 35/45mm thank you in advance.

Go for the wider if your primary concern is staying inflated. It'll be stretched less thin in normal use.

Go for the wider size.
The less stretched the tube is, the more chance there is of the sealant working. Tyres don't stretch at all, which is why tubeless tyres self-seal much more reliably than tubes do.

I would always go wide as possible, unless weight is a consideration.
