Helmet replacement

Post by Jamesh »

Not wanting to get into helmet war...!
My latest helmet is about 5 years old with the usual wear and tear. Couple if 1mm deep cut type marks being the worst.
.should I replace it or retire it to canal duties?

Any recommendations? Budget under£50...

Cheers James

I recently picked up a Giro Agilis helmet which is very comfortable. I had it on sale from eBay so was pretty inexpensive. I think the MIPS version just about falls within your price bracket if it's on offer. I went non-MIPS and it's been fine so far.

I've always like the Specialized cheaper helmet. https://www.specialized.com/gb/en/align ... 800-186472

It's £45!!! Says you can have it on the strap for £15 per month, maybe the doctor might not flag that up?
