I'll definitely have a look at the staffed bike parking link as that's not something I knew existed, plus the individual hotels mentioned.

Out to roughly Vondelpark is the approximate radius I aim to stay within.
You HAVE to look at some of the Dutch station parking- it’s pretty amazing. Try you tube. When we stayed in Amsterdam central though we arranged in advance to used the baggage storage room for the hotel and it was fine.

This is a common approach in Norway at hotels that do not have secure indoor cycle parking.

The Centraal Station one looks pretty good really. Convenient, staffed & cheap! It'll genuinely be nice to try a bit of properly modern cycling infrastructure too.

Got a provisional booking in at a hotel on Frederiksplein to make sure I have somewhere, but might yet change it. I've stayed a few doors down from there before so know the area fairly well.

As an anecdotal experience, I left my touring bike in a guarded bike store in the middle of Utrecht and when I returned a couple of days later it was exactly where I left it. As I’d never done anything like this before I was a bit nervous but everything went fine

Hi, just wondering if you could recommend any of the tips you got? Also planning a cycle and struggling to find accommodation in the city that allows bikes ? Was also looking up the storage spots but also read it can be hard to get a place available. Any help at all would be great 😬😬
