I wouldn't rely on any health advice that includes:

"In addition to providing broad-spectrum protein, zinc oxide also helps reduce redness and inflammation, as well as soothe and heal irritated skin."

and

"Chemical sunscreens have always relied on nano-particles to absorb into the skin, where they soak up the sun’s rays. Considering we’ve been using nano-particles in standard chemical sunscreens for quite some time now, it seems unlikely that nan zinc oxide will pose any unique risks."

when talking about two completely different chemicals (or families of chemicals).

PS: Cast as in white cast is spelt cast, not caste.

I always get my prescription glasses with the UV coating after getting an AK dealt with ( liquid Nitrogen ) on my cheek when I was about 51.

I think you need to be careful when wearing glasses in bright sunlight. I think the magnifying glass effect can concentrate light on one spot especially if not moving around much. Even reflected light off a gloss white wall can be dangerous. I blame the wall.

The link was posted in reference to some commercial sunblocks advertising themselves as 'non-nano', I'll use a picture next time.
