bib style cycling baggy shorts

Post by Tom »

Are there any style of bib short and trousers of I think they call them baggies for sale, I ride for the joy of cycling shorter rides now enjoying country side stops etc, due to senior years/medical reasons, slippage of body muscle due my age I'm past the road cycling styles.

There are some, but they come in two layers. There is a liner with bibs & baggies that go over. They usually have some sort of attachment system, so the over-shorts stay in place relative to the liner. A couple of examples:

I wear MTB baggies quite a bit. I find them to be really comfortable. I don't wear them with bibs because it makes roadside stops awkward. But, then, that's easier for men.

Try a pair of braces with the shorts.
Often less than a fiver, and they clip onto the waistband.

You can wear any normal/baggy shorts/trousers over bib shorts. Decathlon make some good baggy-ish ones made out of comfortable stretchy material. I often wear them over padded shorts (don't use bibs myself). I've never found the need for them to be attached together.
