i have a garmin oregan 600 with city navigator map installed that gives turn by turn directions but when i download cycle route from rdwgps
it doesnt give me turn by turn directions just pink line with not having great eyesight iwould prever turn by turn i would be much obliged if anyone could help

I don't have an Oregon 600 but use a Gamin Edge 1000 for turn by turn navigation.

Are you happy with what you're getting for turn by turn in the first use that you describe? Is it doing anything more than sounding a beep for upcoming junctions?

Lot of years since I had a 600 but I did used to use TbT with it. Though it was very flaky.
Are you exporting it as a TCX or GPX?
TCX has the TbT info in it.

not having great eyesight

I find it difficult to see any kind of turning points on my Wahoo Elemnt - the screen is way too small - so I always use a paper cue sheet and use the Wahoo for mileage.

when driving it beeps and shows arrows to paulatic i will check that out when my son comes up he downloaded it for me
