This doesn't only apply to opening posts. If somebody understands what they are saying, then they should be able to explain it at a "forum appropriate" level, with a link if necessary to give evidence of what they are saying, for anybody who wants to dig deeper for whatever reason.

Too right Mick F, and some folk reply to a post within minutes a lot of the time.
