I'd rather have used a shiny crankset than a black one, but couldn't find any. I had to grind/file a good quarter inch off the left hand crank before the pedal would fold, but there's still as much meat on it as on the original, so not unduly weakened I think. What's the best way to make that bit of bare ali match the black finish?
