Hi all,
I have 5 days in June and was thinking of doing the Caledonian way from Campbeltown to Inverness via Oban and Fort William. The 5 days does not include travel time to start / home from finish.
Has anyone any experience of doing this route before?
I’m thinking b&bs / hostels leaving camping kit at home.
The all important question, what bike ? Is a carbon road bike suitable ? Otherwise my other option is a mountain bike with big 2.8” tyres on 27.5 wheels, which is not great on the road..
Otherwise any other suggestions ? I’ve done Lejog and coast to coast etc previously so looking for something different.
Thanks in advance.
Caledonian Way or something else?
