My Windows Defender came up with Trojan Horse quarantined - threat level severe.

I've been online and can't find anything at my simpleton's level advising what I can do.

I'd appreciate such advice.

Do you have an arrangement with anyone to support this machine?

Thanks for that. If I've understood it correctly, there's a setting whereby the system automatically deletes quarantined threats after a period, which is user variable. I've never attempted to touch that. Do you know the default setting?
