Industrial remains

A while ago we had a discusion about slag and slate waste heaps in Wales,here's a YT video of Dinorwig opposite Llanberis:- https://youtu.be/V5BHDyn1quE
This chap's channel is quite interesting for industrial remains in and around the norh west,he's also cycling the UK coast.
His videos lack the slick production of a professional film crew but interesting nevertheless.

We used to go play around in the Dinorwig slate quaries if it was too wet to go rock-climbing. Very dramatic and somewhat dour environment. After we'd survived the rusty ladders and slippery rock, we'd nip back to Pete's Eats in Llanberis for enormous platefulls of veggie chillie and pint mugs of tea.
