Three million pound funding support https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-scotland- ... d-61966034 to follow the Tweed.
As with the Scottish C2C I see the major stumbling block finding an alternative to the A701

How wonderful if there was a tarmaced riverside track form the Beef Tub to Berwick - but I suspect it will just be using existing routes with occasional glimpses of the Tweed i the distance. I think there is one cycle route already associates that itself with the Tweed, you cross the river at Dryburgh and then don't see it for another 30 mile until Norham

The Talla Reservoir railway trackbed may be part of the plan in the upper dale.
