My friend nearly had her massage stick confiscated. The second supervisor was finally persuaded. She also had her bag searched because she had a saddle in it.
My daughter in law was strip searched because she was wearing an underwired bra! She reckoned the customs woman was a perv
I definitely wouldn't put someone else in the position of explaining away a seat post (knobkerry).

This seatpost sailed past security in stanstead.

May have helped that the seatpost mule was a young lady with children.

Bit late now but just had a thought. Ram a broom handle up the middle and limp through security. Unlikely security would confiscate your walking stick.
May help the next person.
At the last count:- Peugeot 531 pro, Dawes Discovery Tandem, Dawes Kingpin X3, Raleigh 20 stowaway X2, 1965 Moulton deluxe, Falcon K2 MTB dropped bar tourer, Rudge Bi frame folder, Longstaff trike conversion on a Giant XTC 840 :D
